Cole Supplies is an experienced wholesaler specialising in a range of quality workwear, safety gear, personal protective equipment (PPE) and COVID-Safe products such as masks and hand sanitiser.
With the onset of the global pandemic last year, Cole Supplies very quickly became the biggest supplier of PPE to the Australian Government, providing more than 50 million face masks to hundreds of hospitals and chemists around the country.
Wanting to give back during this difficult time, Cole Supplies began working with charity, Good360 Australia, donating more than one million units of hand sanitiser, masks and wipes.
Good360 is a matchmaker, helping repurpose items of value by directing them to the Australians who need them most. With over 2,700 members, charities and schools, Good360 found the donation from Cole Supplies extremely beneficial.
Good360’s Head of Marketing and Communications, Cheryl Johns said that the donation couldn’t have come at a better time.
“It was absolutely fantastic for us because as we know, 2020, we were in the height of COVID-19 and our members really needed access to these goods to ensure they could safely continue to help their vulnerable communities”, Cheryl said.
One of Good360’s members, the Great Lakes Women’s Shelter, found this donation particularly significant as they were able to continue delivering their services to families in need.
“Face masks and hand sanitiser have been widely accepted and used by our families, especially when they attend community appointments and going on outings”, the Great Lakes Women’s Shelter spokesperson said.
Another Good360 member, Coa Sydney Incorporated were able to continue delivering their essential food drop-off service to people in need.
“Good360 and Cole Supplies came to the rescue with masks and sanitiser”, a Coa Sydney Incorporated spokesperson said.
“This made us able to continue to deliver lifesaving food security services and essential social supports.
We cannot explain how appreciative we and our clients are”.
Cole Supplies CEO, Gordon Cole said that he’s proud to have played a part in relieving some of the stresses in recent times.
“Helping others is something we always set out to do…It’s about contributing rather than taking”, Gordon said.
