Through a joint initiative by NGO Vision Rescue and Cathay Pacific airlines, 50,000 N-95 masks were recently donated to Mumbai Police.
Cole Supplies donated the masks, which were flown to India free of cost by Cathay Pacific airlines.
Speaking at the handover event last week, Additional Commissioner of Police Sandeep Karnik said, “On behalf of the Mumbai Police, I’d like to thank Vision Rescue for donating 50,000 masks to Mumbai Police. I would also like to thank Cathay Pacific for making it possible to get the masks all the way from Australia to Mumbai”.

“We try and give back to not only our own communities but also to those in need in developing countries like India,” Michael said.“The Mumbai police have done an incredible job for its residents since the beginning of the pandemic, so it’s a real privilege to be able to give them high quality respirator masks at no cost to help them battle Covid-19”.
